Description:Ning Li graduated from Hefei No.4 Middle School. In 1987, he entered the acting department of Shanghai Theatre Academy. After graduation, he was assigned to Shanghai People's Art Theatre. In 1996, he entered the film production program at the University of Minnesota in the U.S. After returning home after three years of study, he worked as an actor and director. In 2017, he acted in the youth drama "My Huckleberry Friends", in which he played the role of teacher Wu Wen Lu. In the same year, he acted in the crime suspense web drama "Burning Ice". In 2019, he appeared in "The Dragnet". In July, he appeared in the suspense drama "The Long Night" as Zhang Chao. In 2020, he appeared in the family suspense drama "The Bad Kids". On June 21st, he starred in the youth inspirational drama "Symphony's Romance" as a Chinese-American conductor, Fisher.

"Ordinary Greatness" is directed by Ding Hei ("Goddess of Mercy", "The Qin Empire 2") as the chief director, and co-directed by Bao Chengzhi ("The Flowers and Distant Place"), Fu Cexin ("Rebirth For You"). The drama also stars Zhang Ruoyun ("Wu Xin: The Monster Killer", "Snow Leopard") and Bai Lu ("One and Only", "Love is Sweet"). In this drama, director Ding Hei returns to direct a new era police drama 18 years after his classic "Goddess of Mercy". The story revolves around Li Dawei (played by Zhang Ruoyun), Xia Jie (played by Bailu), Yang Shu (played by Xu Kaicheng), and Zhao Jiwei (played by Cao Lu), four fledgling police trainees, telling the story of how they were in a "highly happening police station," the Balihe Police Station in the city of Pingling. Under the guidance of the old police along with the various cases that happened, this tells the story of these four police maturing to become a qualified police for the people. Four young new police officers from Balihe police station – Li Dawei, a "thorn head" who was forcibly sent to the police school by his parents because he was too rebellious; Yang Shu, a rigid and upright person who have received a masters of law from Peking University; Xia Jie, a girl with a sensitive personality who inherited her father's will to become a police officer; and Zhao Jiwei, who comes from the countryside and just heads straight on. According to the characteristics of the four police officers, the director Wang Shouyi (played by Wang Jingchun) arranged four tutors for them. During the one-year internship, the four new police officers first realize that the grass-roots work was different from what they imagined, and after some struggles, they were gradually moved by the sense of achievement and honor gained in their work, and they build up a good relationship with their mentors and higher ups. The police officers help each other and complement each other, and eventually grow into outstanding police for the people....
