Description:During the Korean War, there was a remote village called Dongmakgol near Gangwon-do. The people there are isolated from the outside world, living a self-sufficient life. They even don’t know there is a war outside. Biao Xuanzhe of the Korean national army and Wen Shangxiang, a medic, come to Dongmakgol due to escaping from the camp and falling behind. Meanwhile, Li Xiuhua of the Korean people’s army, veteran Zhang Rongxi and young soldier Xu Zeji also arrive in Dongmakgol. Before that, because of a plane crash, American pilot Captain Smith also comes to the village.
